The Professional System for Evaluating Coffee Quality
Q Grading is a professional coffee evaluation system used to measure and score the quality of specialty coffee. Certified Q Graders use standardized tasting methods to assess aroma, flavor, acidity, body, balance, sweetness, and overall cup quality.
The system was developed by the Coffee Quality Institute (CQI) to create a universal language for coffee grading worldwide.

Higher scores generally indicate cleaner, sweeter, and more complex coffees.
