Fast drain = water isn’t spending enough time with the coffee → under-extraction.

Common causes:

• Grind too coarse
• Pouring too aggressively
• Too little coffee (weak ratio)
• Filter not seated properly

• Grind finer (like table salt)
• Pour slow, steady spirals
• Use proper ratio (1:15–1:17)
• Ensure filter is fully saturated and seated
• Aim for total brew time 2:30–3:30
