Taste of Uganda

Delicate and layered — soft floral notes over chocolate, with dark fruit lingering underneath. A gentler, lighter-bodied cup than most of this collection.

Grown in Sipi, part of Uganda's Kapchorwa District on the slopes of Mount Elgon, this coffee comes from Bourbon, SL14, SL28, and Blue Mountain trees, planted across an unusually wide altitude range — 1,500 to 2,500 meters, among the highest in this collection.

The cherries are fully washed and sun-dried, a process that suits Sipi's high-altitude climate and helps preserve the coffee's delicate floral character rather than overpowering it.
