This lot comes from Fazenda Santa Barbara, grown across the towns of São Francisco and Santo Antônio in Paraná and São Paulo, Brazil. At 750–1,050 meters, in volcanic loam soil, the farm grows Catuaí and Mundo Novo — two varieties known for balance and body rather than sharp acidity.

The cherries are pulped natural and dried in the sun, a process that lets a touch of the fruit's natural sugars linger through fermentation before drying — part of what gives this cup its rounded sweetness.
