Taste of Guatemala

A layered, elegant cup — dark chocolate up front, bright fruit through the middle, butterscotch lingering at the finish. Classic Antigua character.

Grown by smallholder farmers around Antigua, Guatemala, this coffee comes from a mix of Bourbon, Catuaí, Caturra, and Typica trees planted between 1,200 and 1,616 meters. Antigua sits inside a valley ringed by three volcanoes, and the volcanic loam soil here is part of what gives this region its long-standing reputation as one of the world's great coffee origins.

The coffee is fully washed, then sun-dried — a process that strips the fruit away before drying, producing a cleaner, brighter cup that lets the bean's own character come through clearly.
